New Emergency Response Plan Guidance and Tabletop Exercise

The ADE, in collaboration with its partners, has developed new guidance for school emergency response plans (ERP) that reflects the most recent federal guidelines and best practices in emergency management. In addition, the minimum requirements for school ERPs have been slightly revised.
Workshop Objectives:
Introduce and provide in-depth review of the 2013 template for school ERPs
Review the Arizona School Emergency Response Plan Minimum Requirements
Conduct a discussion-based tabletop exercise (TTX) focusing on policy and response procedures
Please note: Registration will begin at 9:00 am and the workshop will begin at 9:30 am.
A working lunch will be provided.
Who Should Attend:
Superintendents, Principals, vice principals, risk managers, school board members, school safety coordinators, transportation coordinators, food service coordinators, facility managers/building engineers, nurses, counselors, hospitals, public health, police, emergency management, fire and volunteer agencies.
Offered free-of-charge by the Arizona Department of Education, Arizona Division of Emergency Management, and the Arizona Department of Health Services.
